The role of Club Attendant:

We currently have an opportunity for a highly motivated Club Attendant to join the Longevity Club. This part time, with potential for a full time role, reports to our Facilities Manager and is responsible for maintaining the club’s pristine condition during our hours of operation. They are an expert in cleanliness and efficiency. This person takes pride in their work, is responsible, personable and customer service oriented.

Responsibilities:

This person is responsible for ensuring the club is clean, organized, and well-presented throughout the day. Conducts frequent walk-throughs of the building to ensure all areas are tidy, sanitized and well-stocked. Performs routine maintenance duties, including dusting, mopping, vacuuming, cleaning, restocking amenities and supplies, part replacements, and laundry. References daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly checklists and follows the schedule to ensure all duties are fully met in an efficient and timely manner.

Regularly collects, starts, and folds loads of laundry throughout the shift

Restocks towels and linens in all rooms of the facility 

Prepares rooms for classes: ensures floors and  mirrors are clean, space is tidy and welcoming, temperature, shades, and lighting adjusted approprriately. Sets up and puts away equipment for classes. Delivers lavender towels for designated classes. 

Ensures that all entry-ways, lobbies/receptions, and common areas are clean and presentable. Cleans studios and equipment routinely throughout the day, especially before/after classes. Continuously cleans the open workout area equipment and floors. Monitors and sanitizes bathrooms and shower rooms, and replenishes and amenities as needed. 

Empties trash receptacles, dispose of the trash into the dumpsters, and bags trash for proper disposal.

Ensures proper care in the use and maintenance of equipment and supplies. Reports needs and concerns to appropriate staff, which may include submitting or recommending work orders and reordering of supplies.

Performs cleaning functions specific to the assigned areas and/or based on seasonal/project requirements.

Minor and preventative maintenance, such as replacing light bulbs, replacing air and water filters, adjusting furniture, and other similar handyman activities.

May receives shipments, unboxes, checks inventory received and stores items, discards packing materials

Eagerly supports and respects other members of the Longevity Club team and is a positive reflection of the Longevity Club among the community

Must be able to lift up to 40lbs

Job may require the use of a ladder

Qualifications:

This role requires one to have good time management skills, attention to detail, clear and effective communication, an outgoing and positive mindset, and the ability to work as a team quickly and efficiently to get the job done. This person possesses a can-do attitude, takes pride in their work, cares for the happiness and well-being of our members, as well as a constant concern for the condition of the facility.

This person demonstrates reliability, dependability, and a strong work ethic. They take direction well and also will take initiative when necessary, and are committed to upholding the guiding values of our organization. They exhibit the desire for and actively pursue continued learning and professional growth.

1+ years of experience in a similar role is preferred. 1+ years of experience in the hospitality industry is preferred. 

Additional requirements include: Must be flexible with schedule and available to work weekends (7am-4pm), weekday morning shifts that begin as early as 7am and afternoon shifts that end as late as 8pm.
